another (better?) bookshelf

Well, after dabbling with my first web-based-bookshelf (webshelf?), I discovered another site similar to shelfari.com. After playing around a bit on librarything.com, I think I like the functionality of this one a tad better. Shelfari has a prettier layout, but I found the organization of even my small bookshelf to be tedious and time-consuming. Librarything is fast & easy to use, which are key factors (my cursory book-adding took half the time).

So, now I'll have to decide, because I don't want to add all my books to both!

infinite bookshelf

I just discovered shelfari.com, and I'm addicted. I love perusing people's bookshelves, and this site affords endless perusals, with links to shelves similar to your own. I've just started adding books (mostly have ones that I have yet to read), but the interface seems pretty intuitive, except perhaps the clunkiness of adding to lists. Here is what I've got so far on my shelf. I'll be expanding my virtual library soon.

Join and share your shelf with me!

fortune

My fortune cookie tonight said:

"You can only be happy when you are in the process of achieving a goal."

Questions:
Do I need goals to be happy?
Should my goals be realistic or idealistic?
What if my goal is happiness?
